Word Slider with Pictures

Slide, say each sound, blend and read! 200 decodable word strips with pictures for CVC words, digraphs, blends, vowel teams, diphthongs and r-controlled vowels, plus a printable slider template.

Word sliders make blending hands-on. Children slide a strip out one letter at a time, say each sound as it appears and hold it as the next one comes, then blend the whole word and check it with the picture. Every strip has a dot under each sound and a blending arrow, so children learn that digraphs like sh and ck, and vowel patterns like ou and ar, make just one sound.
